Convergen/Microlink IntroConvergen (Green Bay) makes engineered fuel pellets from industrial byproducts, about 11,500 BTU/lb, drop in for solid fuel boilers with steam turbines. 50 MW block is a sweet spot, 250 MW doable. Avoids gas pipeline and turbine backlog. Fit for Ohio One behind the meter baseload and for repurposing CenTrio Chicago boilers (feasible with caveats).
